Cancellations, refunds, substitutions of delegates and change of dates
Clients are entitled to cancel trainings subject to 10 days notice and a R100 admin cancellation fee, notice of cancellation to be please be provided in writing to info@skillsclinic.co.za with the subject heading ‘cancellation’. Full refunds will only be given if you have given us 10 working days notice before the start of the course. If less than ten days notice is provided, 50% of the full course fee will still be payable. If less than 5 working days notice is given, 100 % of the full course fee is payable.
Substitutions of delegates are permitted with no penalties incurred but please advise us once again in writing at least 24 hours before the time so that we can provide system access to the substituted delegate .
Should a client need to postpone training, postponements are accepted with no penalties incurred provided at least 4 business days notice is provided and a future training date is selected as per the available list of upcoming courses.
The Skills Clinic reserves the withdraw / postpone a seminar should unfortunate unforeseen circumstances occur, however in the event of such an occurrence, we will provide our clients with a full refund or the alternative to attend another suitable date at no extra cost.
Requirements to attend training:
Each delegate who attends our online training programmes will require adequate data and a sufficient connection in order to participate fully. A headset or microphone with speakers is also required and a webcam is preferable, but not essential.
Intellectual Property rights
You agree that all intellectual property rights held in all training documentation supplied by The Skills Clinic (Pty) Ltd. to you in relation to the course is and shall remain the property of the The Skills Clinic (Pty) Ltd. and any copying or distribution in any form of the course content and/or any training documentation is strictly prohibited. You shall not any time use the name, logo or trademark of the The Skills Clinic (Pty) Ltd. without the written consent of the The Skills Clinic (Pty) Ltd. By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you agree that you may not
(a) alter any of our intellectual property or the Materials; or
(b) copy, video record, audio record or reproduce the content of the workshop or the Materials; or
(c) sell the intellectual property or the Materials (‘IP’) or supply the IP to third parties
(d) The course, delegates and course feedback may be recorded/photographed and utilised for the marketing, promotional and statistical purposes of the Skills Clinic (Pty) Ltd. by The Skills Clinic (Pty) Ltd. and only based on mutual consent.
Certificates and errors:
Please complete each the delegate who will be attending the training’s details carefully so that we can prepare certificates accordingly. Should new certificates be required as a result of incorrect details being supplied we will send you a revised electronic certificate with pleasure upon request. Certificates of attendance are provided based on full course attendance and participation in all activities including homework. The training provider reserves the right to provide feedback to any employer who is funding the course on behalf of an employee as to the employee’s attendance and participation.
Other:
For delegates who are opting to undergo assessment, please ensure that you meet the minimum requirements as stipulated in the SAQA Unit Standard before attending the course. All training material and presentations are presented in English. Please communicate any special needs you may have to us before the training commences as we will cannot be held liable should we be unable to assist you if special needs have not been communicated.
Limitations of Liability
The Skills Clinic (Pty) Ltd. endeavours to ensure the accuracy and relevance of our courses, the training documentation included and available on each course, but because of the possibility of human and mechanical error as well as other factors, to the extent allowed by law, the The Skills Clinic (Pty) Ltd. does not, whether expressly, tacitly or implicitly, represent, warrant or in any way guarantee the availability, truth, accuracy, completeness or reliability of such information or that it is always up to date. In the circumstances, and to the extent allowed by law, neither the The Skills Clinic (Pty) Ltd., nor any of its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents or representatives are liable in any way for any loss or damages as a result of the use of or reliance on information provided on the course. The above wording limits and excludes obligations, liabilities and legal responsibilities of the The Skills Clinic (Pty) Ltd., and also limits and excludes your rights and remedies and places various risks, liabilities, obligations and legal responsibilities on you.
