Mapping the Attention Arc of Your Presentation
How to map format shifts onto the attention arc:
The chart below shows your emotional arc as a static green reference, overlaid on the natural audience attention baseline in red.
1. Choose a format shift from the dropdown below the chart.
2. Use the slider to position it anywhere on the timeline (0% = Opening, 100% = Close).
3. Click Add Format Shift — the attention arc will spike upward at that point, showing how your intervention lifts audience attention.
4. Add as many as you like at different positions.
Tip: Place format shifts at the low points of the attention arc for maximum impact.

1. Choose an intervention type from the dropdown below the chart.
2. Drag the slider to position it anywhere on the timeline (0% = Opening, 100% = Close).
3. Click Place Intervention — a ✦ star will appear on the chart at that position.
4. Add as many as you like at different positions.
